Site AI Partner Lean

Summary

The AI Partner will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating and deploying high‑impact artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation applications at the site level.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lean teams, functions and stakeholders to proactively identify and evaluate high‑impact AI/ML opportunities at the site.
• Act as a key AI partner to cross‑functional project teams.
• Guide teams through the potential and limitations of AI/ML to address specific business challenges.
• Translate business challenges into clear problem statements, measurable success criteria and value hypotheses.
• Coach teams in AMP 2.0, helping them develop their own use cases.
• Develop proof‑of‑concept (POC) for high‑impact opportunities.
• Work with the PT Central AI team to run feasibility tests or adapt existing use cases.
• Scale AI POCs to production‑scale deployments.
• Activate the business impact of AI solutions at the site.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in industrial engineering, computer science, electrical/electronics engineering, data science, artificial intelligence or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in industrial application of AI/ML, POCs and first deployments.
• Experience with data integration (SQL, APIs, ETL, data quality checks) and integration with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, MES).
• Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with Lean/Kaizen practices, especially moderating workshops.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Italian.
